Kinaesthetic 金 photography

Feel. Move. Capture
In the literal sense, "kinaesthetic" means "having to do with movement or sensation, especially within the body."
Beyond its literal meaning, I break down the components:
Kin signifies relationships, such as the relationships I build throughout life. That could be through family, through friendships, or through travel. Meeting and documenting interesting people, places, and things that I encounter through photography... Kin (金) also most commonly means "gold". In my photography, I lean heavily towards golden tones, the use of the golden hours for lighting, and the use of gold in my design and branding.
Aesthetic means "relating to, involving, or concerned with pure emotion and sensation as opposed to pure intellectualism". When I look back on my work, I'm taken back to what I felt during a fleeting moment of time. This emotion holds the connection to those scenes, and evoke the story and context behind the images.
I prefer a candid, spontaneous approach with photography. The details, the emotion, and reactions amongst people evokes meaning and memories, and tells a deeper story.
So... my hope is that I am able to capture emotions, to capture stories... in a way that moves you, invokes emotions, and create some lasting relationships.
